NFL Conference Championship Round Results!

Coming into this week I was 3-5 in my football predictions. This week didn't hurt, but it also didn't help. 1/21/18 1. (1) New England Patriots VS (3) Jacksonville Jaguars 3:05 pm est. CBS My Pick: New England Patriots Winner: New England Patriots 2.  (1) Philadelphia Eagles VS (2) Minnesota Vikings 6:40 pm est. FOX My Pick: Minnesota Vikings Winner: Philadelphia Eagles This brings my total predictions to 4-6 with no chance at 50%. I was going to pick the Pro Bowl but I realized that game isn't fun and they probably shouldn't even allow defenses on the field. As for my Super Bowl pick? It will be released on the day of the Super Bowl, two weeks from today. Tomorrow starts a theme for the blog that will run through next Sunday. Most likely not TBT this week.

Bowl Record Update

Here's my lackluster bowl performance. This may be the worst in my career and the only year I don't think I've ever won less than 25 games. Somehow I have a chance to win. All I have to do is not lose the national title or predict the better score for the tie breaker. No pressure, right? Again I will reveal my national championship pick next Monday at the start of the game. My predictions may lead you to the right team. 8 Reasons Why College Bowl Games Have Bad Attendence

Today is going to be a late article and a short article. I’ve saw a lot of people on social media complaining about the size of college bowl crowds. There are a few reasons as to why the college bowl crowds are small for the games we’ve saw so far. 1) There are a ton of college bowl games now. A few even take place in the same city. This takes up hotel space, activity space(because there is always more than just the bowl game going on.), and kills the logistics of the city.  2) College bowl games don’t really attract local fans. Why? The teams aren’t from there. You may get a few transplants but never a ton of fans from local cities. It’s not a big draw, just a big traffic jam.  3) Small college crowds won’t travel and typically are in smaller cities with lower median incomes. As a graduate of Marshall University I’ve been to 0 bowl games because they typically don’t play anywhere near Huntington, WV. This year was New Mexico and I can tell you the appeal isn’t the...
